My name was Abraham, and I was a working man Pour me one more Sazerac, and I will tell you lies... How I was crucified for sacrilegious magazines of rock and roll I believe in ghosts but I'm haunted by a monster in a sympathetic world we took our last breath in concert call me make believe, call me anything you feel superstitious or fictitious but I'm certain that I'm real Guillotined before my weeping husband, Mirabelle I've lost my mind What's that playing in the stratosphere? What's that feeling in your bones? What's that static in your attic? Don't it got you wondering if you're not alone? You are tuned into Ghost Rock Radio

Amelis 03:45
An impish chambermaid did tip toe on the braid connecting her majesty's craft to the port untied it just for sport Amelis Amelis Her ink was always blue it sinks right into you Be careful with her poetry her scribbled sorcery Amelis, Amelis, Amelis Her undying face all over the news Too many people watched her race them out to the dunes Her ghost is on the lam she spoke with Abraham She's going after them with a knife sharpened on her stone Amelis, Amelis, Amelis

Mister Disco 04:27
Call me Mr. Disco, Mr Disco San Francisco I’m a pitbull in Armani, I’m the captain of Callisto I’m cruising down the street, in my El Camino I’m drinking coca cola with Quentin Tarantino (Let’s Go) I started out in Frisco, I was just a hired gun But I never needed money, I was killing just for fun I’d love to stay and lay with you, but first there’s something you gotta do… Will you say my name??? Call me Mister Disco! I'm Mister Disco San Francisco! You’re so lovely, you’re so pretty, you’re so manic little girl My helicopter jellyfish will take u around the worlds Such a handsome, such a gorgeous, such a delicate young man I’ll take you out to San Francisco if you’ll take my hand. My Kaleidoscope philosophy had taken me this far But my aperture had rapidly unwound beneath the stars The violence surrounded me and hardened me to crystal And now they call me Mr. Disco, Mr. Disco San Francisco Call me Mister Disco! I'm Mister Disco San Francisco! The police wanted me so bad they even put up signs I say just swipe right, and I’ll show you a good time They never pinned me with no murder, no they never caught ol' Disco But I was slapped with tax evasion and they dumped me on Callisto Now, Callisto is a place that ain’t for the faint of heart Inhabited by pirates who have mastered martial arts But it didn’t take too long, the kung-fu moon rats liked my style And we banded up together like a pack of crocodiles We disco'd every night, and we hijacked passing freighters We wasted every hostage, dumped the bodies in the craters We decided we needed a creed so I wrote up a manifesto And that’s how i became de facto captain of Callisto Call me Mister Disco! I'm Mister Disco San Francisco! Good evening ladies and germs, it's me Mister Disco. I have commandeered this ghost rock radio frequency in order to indulge myself. Many lies have been spread about me, and I wanted to set the record straight. I wanted to know my story, get a taste, I wanted you to know who I am I want you to remember my name. You do remember dont you? Call me Mister Disco, Mister Disco San Francisco

My Ganymede baby left me low, so low She left me on Ganymede, she left me a long time ago She took a jet straight to Wichita back to someone she knew, before The ocean, it sparkles like a ring, a diamond ring It’s frozen it’s crystal, like a ring, her diamond ring It’s endless it’s empty and I am the lonesome king The sun shines so dim way out here Yes, the sun shines so dim and so cold out here I won’t be surprised if one day it decides to disappear Amalis was here she left a poem, (a dirty little poem) Etched inside these frozen catacombs It said you can never ever never go back, so Why don’t you just make yourself at home

Sleepy Feet 03:26
I am soap and you are water so let's elope and have a daughter I am road and you are gravel so let's elope then we can travel I can't believe that we've been deceived for so long You were amused and I was misused for so long I can't believe that we've been deceived for so long So long
6.
Red Turtle 03:37
I just want to tell you How much I love you How much I love you Well, the red turtle swimming into the deep blue Red turtle swimming through to me and you Oh she gonna get me, oh she gonna get you Well, the red turtle swimming into the deep blue Red turtle swimming through to me and you The red turtle swimming into the deep blue sea So give me all your lovin and give me all your huggin Give me all your kisses, oh you’re so delicious Well the Red Turtle swimmin into the deep blue sea So give me all your lovin and give me all your huggin Give me all your kisses, oh you’re so delicious Well the Red Turtle swimmin into the deep blue

You wait and watch the phone for someone to call You wonder if you're not alone Surrounded by your favorite people on the walls Umbrella Bones With every step you take the dream-light recedes a will-o-the-whisp of your own left alone to sleep forever Umbrella Bones Open your eyes, she's been lying to you Don't be surprised, cuz you've been lying to yourself and otherwise, she loves you but it's not enough Illumination in Mary Poppins eyes you wonder if she's not alone floating like a spectral orchid in the sky Umbrella Bones Masquerading in an empty bedroom there's no one there to smell your good cologne you call her number but she doesn't pick up Oh poor little Umbrella Bones Open your eyes, she's been lying to you Don't be surprised, cuz you've been lying to yourself and otherwise, you love her but it's not enough Open your eyes, she's been lying to you Don't be surprised, cuz you've been lying to yourself and otherwise, she loves you but you're not enough

Circling the sun with a belly full of rum And I’m certain that I’m doomed All my friends have left me, there’s nobody except me And the torture, the murder on the news I’m out of my mind, I’m out of your mind There’s really nothing I can do Oh to be consoled by a blanket in the cold And to sleep, sleep next to you Laser guided bombs, helpless weeping moms clutching lifeless cocoons War between the nations for countless generations I’m nauseous despite the Prussian blue You’ve been on my mind for such a long time while the space between us grew and grew Radio Transmissions of corporate ammunition over and over and over and over and over… Intercepted instructions from a culture I don’t understand anymore, but I can’t escape the gore Even at 99 percent of the speed of light they find me Propaganda from the dead hand radiating from my screen Interfering with my radio Interfering with my dreams (Radio Chatter) You’ve been on my mind for such a long time But it’s nothing more than Deja vu Mutual assured destruction was preferred and ashes ashes, we all fall down
9.
Nothing’s stopping me from having fun fun fun Nothings stopping me from having fun Wake up to the beating of the drum drum drums Wake up to them beating in the sun We’re six days away from the end of this world Seven more til I’m gone I think we better swing callisto round and round Swing callisto round and round Swing Callisto round and around and around, get it on On the twenty-second hour of the thirty-seventh day Callisto was wound up like a string On the finger that hovers over everybody’s fate The eyeball that watches on everything Well I dreamed I saw his face I saw the captain of Callisto His teeth were sharp and pointed like a pistol But he smelled, like genocide and rubbing alcohol His crippled feet could barely keep him up to crawl So I shot him in the belly with a colt 45 And he said he didn’t know he was alive Yes I shot him in the belly with a colt 45 And for 7 hours he just sat there. He sat there. He sat there and the mother fucker died Well now I’m in the vault that keeps it’s eye on everyone But I can barely hear the drum bum bum bum bup So I think ill step outside I’ll like the door and eat the key And go join in with the drummers by the sea
10.
(Don't let the ghosts and the ghouls disturb you Darling, the only ghoul in the house is you Something you ate, the doctor said, yes arsenic on the rocks) I believe in ghosts, but I'm haunted by disaster In a supersonic fantasy, my heart was beating faster pirouetting spirits in a discotheque museum I'm not psychic but I like it, beats an empty mausoleum I'm in here, I'm in there My love she knows I'm in the stratosphere

about

01. Ghost Rock Radio pt. 1 begins with our narrator, who introduces himself as Abraham. He takes us from his beheading at the behest of Madame Mirabelle, AKA the guillotine, oh how she thirsts for her red wine, all the way out to the stratosphere, where we dance in the funky Afro-Caribbean influenced beat of Ghost Rock Radio pt. 2.

02. Amelis is a knife-wielding poetry-writing poltergeist who periodically dabbles in our physical plane. One day she goes too far, and finds herself in a highly televised car chase, subjecting her to the harsh laws of the mortal world. Her borrowed flesh dies in a fiery, guitar-wailing car crash in the desert dunes. Now she plots her revenge...

03. Next, an anthem of the life and times of Mister Disco, a crime boss hedonist who loves violence almost as much as he loves indulging in the pleasures of the flesh. In a special court, it was determined that he be banished to Callisto (the second moon of Jupiter) where he currently operates a massive syndicate of intergalactic robbery, smuggling and the occasional hit. He takes control of the Ghost Rock Radio station in order to tell his story. Beneath the catchy synth hooks and bouncy bass he simply wants you to remember his name.

04. From Callisto we veer over to the next Jovian moon, the lonely ice world known as Ganymede. A frosty little 12 bar blues from a spirit frozen stiff with the Ganymede Blues. Amelis has been here evidently, though her poetry offers nothing but cold comfort.

05. Sleepy Feet, some lingering remorse over some unspecified past deception. Perhaps life is one big deception? Does love offer redemption?

06. Perhaps a dream, perhaps a memory, perhaps a wild hallucination. Inspired by the Toshio Suzuki film in which a Red Turtle visits a man during his last hours on earth, this tune is an ethereal and simple love tune. Is it true that love is all you need?

07. NO! It turns out love is not all you need, Umbrella Bones, you’ve been lying to yourself, but to no avail. It’s not enough. You’ve followed a will-o-the-wisp into your ultimate dissolution. Dissatisfied and disillusioned you fall to the floor, clutching for something, but grasping nothing. You love her, she loves you, but it’s not enough. You’re not enough.

08. Our narrator, now known as the Citizen Pluto, finds himself in a post-apocalyptic future, 3 light years from the sun out in the Oort cloud, reflecting on the nature of humans; mass-shootings, the climate crisis, nuclear war and the mutually assured destruction pact that we were balanced on like a razor's edge. Ashes, ashes, we all fell down.

09. Wait! Perhaps there is still hope! Our hero Johnny must fight the war-mongering Mister Disco, the captain of Callisto. Is this the final showdown of our saga? Will our hero save the world, for the present and future generations? Find out by tuning into Callisto Swing!

10. After that historic battle, dust and ashes settle into desert sands, thus befitting a Moricone inspired gallop. Ghost Rock Radio pt. 3 is the book end finish for this album. "Don’t tell me my whistling is good, whistling’s dead, and we both know that." - Kenny Winker

Thank you for listening, I hope you enjoyed it. Perhaps we may meet in the flesh someday, or perhaps not, but for this brief moment, our universes were intertwined, and I thank you for your time.
